About the APMP-Foundation™ Level

This is the entry level for bids and proposals accreditation. To achieve this level you will have a minimum of 1 year’s experience of working in a proposals-related environment and will be able to demonstrate your commitment to improving your skills in this area.

This level of Accreditation is the only level open to non-members of the APMP. If you are not a member of the APMP, your accreditation will not be able to be verified against the members’ database.

Assessment process
There are 2 parts to the accreditation at the APMP-Foundation™ level:

1. You must provide the name of a reference person to the APMP, (such as your line manager, a peer or a commissioning client) who is prepared to confirm that you have worked for at least 1 year in a bids and proposals environment.

2. You must pass the multiple-choice examination, by answering at least 42 out of 75 questions correctly.

Notification of results
You will be notified of your Pass or Fail result on-line immediately after completing the examination.

If you successfully pass the examination, a Certificate will be sent to you confirming your achievement of APMP-Foundation™ Level within 2-4 weeks of completing the examination.

Continuing Professional Development
You will be required to earn CEU credits (Continuing Education Units) to maintain your accreditation.
